U.P. State Credit Union cares about the health and safety of our members and the communities we serve.

Effective Thursday at close of business, all U. P. State Credit Union lobbies will close until further notice. Our drive-through services will be available the following times:

Escanaba, Norway, St. Ignace 8 am-5pm

Cedarville 9am-5pm

If you need to see a Member Service Representative or a Loan Officer, please contact any of our branch locations to make an appointment. All staff will be available via phone and e-mail.

Below is a list of services we provide that do not require lobby access:

  • Mobile App
  • Online banking
  • Direct Deposit
  • Remote Deposit Capture
  • Calling any of our Branch Locations
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Online Bill pay services
  • ATMs
  • Night Deposit available at all UPSCU locations
  • Online Loan & Mortgage Applications

Dear Member,

I would like to update you on U.P. State Credit Unions actions regarding the COVID-19 virus.  U.P. State remains committed to providing exceptional and secure service during these uncertain times. I am confident in our employees’ ability to keep your finances safe and secure throughout the coming weeks and months. Below is a list of actions we are taking to protect you and a list of suggestions you can take to protect yourself when utilizing our services.

What U.P. State is doing to protect you:

  • We have developed a specific COVID-19 Pandemic Plan. This plan has multiple layers designed to minimize the effects of a spread of the COVID-19 virus and maintain services as normal with the threat of reduced staffing.
  • Work areas and ATMs will be sanitized throughout the day.
  • Employees are encouraged to stay home if symptoms develop.

What services you can use to minimize direct contact:

  • Utilize our mobile app and online banking. With these services you can complete the following tasks with any mobile device at no cost to you:
    • Remote Deposit Capture (deposit checks without having to leave home)
    • Transfer funds between accounts
    • Pay loans
    • Pay bills using our free bill pay services
  • Call any of our branch locations to ask questions, request transfers, make loan payments or prepare your transaction ahead of time so you can pick up in the drive thru
  • Utilize our ATMs, Drive thrus, and Night Deposits
  • Apply online at UPSCU.com or call. We can email your documents for electronic signature, so you do not have to enter the branch in most instances.

We will be closely monitoring guidance from the CDC, Michigan Department of Health and local health officials.
